Fall is here, and it has meant a return to the studio for students and myself! It's so exciting to watch all the wonderful artwork in progress. As usual, the kids are amazing and it's been really wonderful to work with a new group of beginning painters on Tuesday evenings! Check out some of their first paintings- "Cupcakes"!

Winter Session begins at Taggart Studio
With the holidays behind us, it's time to think about winter activities. I always like to start a project or two- something to work on when it's too cold to go outside!
Classes are currently forming at the studio for kids and adults alike. I have added an additional class on Monday for kids and a couple of Saturday workshops for adults, Basic Drawing and Introduction to Watercolor. Girls' Night Out is always a fun night to come out and create while socializing and relaxing with friends.
Winter is the perfect time to pursue creative endeavors as we are able to be still and give some time to ourselves.

Spring is here!
Sitting here this morning and thinking about painting . I had the opportunity to paint in Ogunquit this past weekend and although I was very rusty, it was wonderful. I love to be near the ocean, and to paint while there is the best of both worlds for me.
We often limit our own creative endeavors in order to do the "important " things in our life, but it is crucial to refresh those creative powers from time to time. Even if you don't consider yourself an artist, it can be so energizing to do something creative- to refresh and renew .
